Welcome to the Nijmegen-Overbetuwe-Arnhem Toastmasters Club. We realize that for residents of Arnhem, Nijmegen would be a bridge to far, and from those who live in Nijmegen Arnhem would be the same.
We are a bilingual (Dutch and English) public speaking and leadership club that is part of a worldwide Toastmasters Organization. We have a diversity of expats and Dutch people with different backgrounds and from all ages. Both native and non-native English speakers have opportunity to hone their speaking, listening and leadership skills in our Club.
A FRIENDLY AND MUTUALLY SUPPORTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Our members are committed to help each other improve their public speaking and leadership skills.
- Do you want to express yourself better in front of people?
- Are you dreaming of a more efficient self-expression style?
- Do you want to enhance your leadership qualities?
Whatever your aim is NOA Toastmasters Club provides you with a friendly and mutually supportive learning environment that can help you achieve your personal goals.
HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER?
Becoming a member of NOA-Toastmasters Club involves three steps:
1. Visit one of our meetings first and find out if you like the toastmasters experience. We encourage people to visit three times without any costs.
2. Talk to our members and club officers to decide whether this is for you. You’ll need to commit some of your time to Nijmegen-Overbetuwe-Arnhem Toastmasters Club and be based in the Arnhem-Nijmegen area for some months so that you can make most out of your club membership.
3. If you decide to join us, ask for an application form, fill it out and submit it to the Vice-President Membership. We will then process your application and let you know whether it has been accepted.
Once the payment has been received, you will become a member of our club and of Toastmasters International (TMI). Then the real fun begins. You start taking on roles at our meetings and get access to Pathways to work on your speeches and other projects.
